LJ Dove Associates was founded in 1979, specializing in fire and explosion investigations involving property damage and personal injury claims. It later expanded to provide forensic engineering consulting services, forensic biomechanical engineering and human factors expertise. Wayne S. Todd, Esq., led the firm’s focus on changing scientific methodologies and the interpretation of building, fire, life safety, property maintenance and related codes and standards. Dove Associates merged with FCNA in 2015, and attorney Todd (licensed in NY and PA) is still active and serves as the Director of Litigation Services for FCNA.
Seeking an opportunity to expand their reach and expertise, the principals of FCNA purchased FEI in 2013 from Ernest Mallard, P.E., Founding Partner and CEO. FEI was formed by professionals with more than a decade of experience in engineering and forensic consulting. The legacy can still be found in FEI’s blueprint today. Thomas Griffin, P.E., serves as FEI’s President and Managing Engineer and is an integral part of day-to-day operations. With Rebekah Bailey steering the team with strong leadership and Sandy Wall offering critical support, they form a powerhouse of collaboration and expertise.
