Forensic Consultants of North America is a full-service forensic consulting firm serving a broad range of industries throughout North America. Founded by engineers and insurance veterans, we offer a full range of professional services.

ARCHITECTURAL + CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

FCNA is often engaged to provide forensic architectural services early on in construction defect cases. We will inspect the architectural components identified in the case, including but not limited to, roofs, windows, exterior finishes, interior finishes, waterproof finishes, decks, stairs and site conditions. On-site inspections involve the gathering of critical information about the existing condition of a project. A summary of findings and repair recommendations is prepared based on a detailed analysis of the issues with supporting documentation. A detailed review of subcontractor contracts and a scope of work analysis may also be prepared. These reports have proven to be instrumental in the facilitation of subsequent phases of litigation such as mediation and expert witness testimony during depositions and trial. FCNA has extensive experience with all phases of construction defect litigation.

ACCIDENT RECONSTRUCTION

The science of accident reconstruction is highly specialized and requires extensive training. Our biomechanical and accident reconstruction experts have years of experience investigating accidents. We are skilled at evaluating the numerous factors involved in a traffic accident such as topography, sight lines, environmental conditions and human factors. Our experts understand the importance of gathering reliable information such as photographs, measurements and police reports; performing a thorough analysis; and reporting the findings clearly and concisely.
